KaramelKinema: The New York Times’ Making A Scene

Although the end of the year in for movie buff can mean a lot of thing. It can means lists of best/worst of films coming out, announcement for various nominations, upcoming festivals line up, holiday films, and those good films finally coming to their theather, etc. One of my the thing i look forward to, is New York Times’ (very, very) short films series that usually featured the years’ best performers.

NYT celebrate 2013 best writers as well as the performer, under the direction of Award-winning cinematographer Janusz Kaminski. This year crop includes the talent of Oprah Winfrey, Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford, Oscar Isaac, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Greta Gerwig, Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Chiwitel Ejiofor, Bradley Cooper, and Adèle Exarchopoulos, all acting out a scene and one line written by various writers.
